Dadabhai Naoroji
Dadabhai Naoroji was a Parsee (a Zoroastrian from India).
He became the first Asian member of the British Parliament in 1892.
At the Parliament, Naoroji advocated political reform and justice
for India. Naoroji was one of the first leaders of the Indian
nationalist movement who supported independence for India.
He played an important role in establishing the Indian National Congress
in 1865.
