Sedreh-pushi Card

Sedreh-pushi is the Zoroastrian initiation ceremony. Young people take part in this ceremony to be able to join the Zoroastrian community as a responsible person. Now let's make a Sedreh-pushi card to give to a friend on his/her sedreh-pushi.

1. Thin cardboard or thick paper

2. Green (or any color you like) construction paper

3. Glue

4. Pencil

5. Scissors

6. Gold glitter

7. Red glitter

8. Silver glitter

9. Red (or any color you like) felt-tip pen

Draw a rectangular on the cardboard.

Cut out the rectangular.

Draw the same size rectangular on the construction paper.

Cut it out.

Glue the construction paper on the cardboard to make a card.

Draw an urn with flames on the card.

Spread glue over the urn.

Sprinkle the silver glitter on the urn.

Let the glue dry.

Spread glue over the outer flame.

Sprinkle the gold glitter over the flame.

Spread glue over the inner flame.

Sprinkle the red glitter over the flame.

Let the glue dry.

With the help of a pen, write "Happy Sedreh-pushi" on the card.
