Prophet Zarathushtra had many enemies. He names some of them in his Divine Songs, the Gathas. Here is the list of some of Zarathushtra's enemies mentioned in the Gathas:

Karapans= These were the priests of the old religion who fought with Zarathushtra. In the Gathas, the Prophet rejects these priests, their beliefs and rituals.

Kavis= The powerful princes who aided the Karapans. The Kavis were wealthy and corrupt so Zarathushtra rose up against them.

Usig= A priestly family who opposed Zarathushtra and his religion.

Bendva= He was a rishi and an enemy of Zarathushtra.

Yima son of Vivanhan= He was a legendary Iranian hero who later became arrogant and claimed to be the god. Zarathushtra rejects Yima's pride in the Gathas.

Grehma= was one of the enemies of Zarathushtra who was an ally of the Karapans.

A person who sings in praise of gods =sihir

An ally of Karapans = ivak

Today's name for Yima = mshajdi

Another friend of Karapans= amherg
