Draw a circle on the cardboard with the help of a compass.

Cut the circle out.

Cut a circle from black felt and glue it on the first circle to make a face.

Draw a triangle on the cardboard and cut it out.

Cut the same size triangle from red felt and glue to the first triangle to make Haji Firuz's hat.

Glue the hat to his head.

Cut two small circles from white felt to make eyes. Glue the eyes on the face.

Glue the buttons on the eyes.

Cut a smiley mouth from the red felt and glue it to the face.

Glue the gold bow to his hat.

Glue a loop of string to the back of Haji Firuz and hang it on the wall.

Glue cotton balls to make Uncle Nowruz's beard and hair.

Punch two holes through the bag.

Thread the three ribbons through the flap and tie them into a bow.
