A Prayer to Fire!

Picture
This prayer is taken from Atash Niyayesh (the fire prayers) from Khordeh Avesta. The prayer has been shortened and simplified for your better understanding.

Here it is:

In the name of God. May the majesty and glory of Ahura Mazda increase.
I am a Mazda-worshipper, a follower of Zarathushtra. I oppose lies and accept the Ahurai doctrine.

Praise to Fire, the Ahura Mazda’s great creation.
O Fire fulfill my wish, now and forever, so that I obtain good rewards and happiness for my soul!

May the knowledge and glory of the Mazdayasnian religion spread in the seven regions of the earth!
So be it!

Homage to Ahura Mazda and homage to Fire of Ahura Mazda, O good created, great Yazata.
