Zoroastrian Prayers

Here is a sample of some important Zoroastrian prayers. These prayers have been simplified and shortened for your better understanding.
A short prayer from Yasna 10:
I praise good thoughts, good words, and good deeds. I reject all the bad thoughts, bad words and bad deeds. I praise Righteousness. Righteousness is the Best.
Do'e Tandorosti (a prayer for health from the Khordeh Avesta):
May my family and friends live happy, healthy and long! May they live for thousand years! May Ahura Mazda grant health to all those who follow the Good Religion! A hundred thousand blessings to them and to my family!
Fravarti (this is a prayer for the declaration of the faith):
I am worshiper of Mazda. I am Zoroastrian worshiper of Mazda. I praise good thoughts, good words, and good deeds. I praise the good Mazda-worshiping religion given by Ahura Mazda to Asho Zarathushtra, that of all religions that have come and are likely to come, is the greatest, the best, the most excellent.
Ashem Vohu (this is an important prayer in Zoroastrianism):
Righteousness is the best. It is happiness. Happiness comes to the person who is righteous for the sake of righteousness alone.
Baj (this prayer is recited before meals):
In the name of Ahura Mazda, giver of all good things, the generous spirited, and loving. Here we revere Ahura Mazda, who created the animals and grains, who created waters and plants, who created the sky and the earth and all the good things.
Yatha ahu vairyo (an important prayer composed by Asho Zarathushtra himself):
The gift of the good mind leads to Ahura Mazda. Ahura Mazda gives authority to the one who protects the oppressed.
A Prayer for Peace (Gathas Song 17.8):
Let the good rulers prevent killings and violence.
Let them bring peace to homes and settlements.
Let diseases be gone!
Let the violent death be stopped.
And let this happen soon!
